What happened
Armed men intercepted Samir al-Dubiani’s car in Sanaa on the morning of 22 February 2016, removed and handcuffed him, and drove him away. Gunmen also raided his home at about the same time and took family belongings.
Two months later a Houthi official told the family he was being held in Habra prison because of his links to Islah. Human Rights Watch documented the case through relatives’ accounts.
