Qabel and al-Ayzari detained in a building later hit by an airstrike

What happened

Houthi forces abducted journalists Abdullah Qabel and Yousef al-Ayzari in Dhamar on 20 May 2015 and held them in the seismic monitoring building. It was bombed the next day; their bodies were subsequently found, The New Arab reported, citing colleagues and family accounts.

Belqees TV accused the Houthis of using detainees as human shields. The direct cause of their deaths was a coalition airstrike; the Houthi abuse recorded here is abduction and dangerous detention, not conducting that airstrike.
